The Maimonides Best Published Original Research Prize was established to promote publication of excellent scientific medical research. A prize of US$1,000 is awarded to the first author of the best original research paper published in Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal for the previous year.
We are pleased to advise that at the recommendation of the RMMJ Original Research Publication Committee, the first author of the manuscript entitled “Femoral versus Multiple Nerve Blocks for Analgesia after Total Knee Arthroplasty,” has been awarded the Maimonides Best Published Original Research Prize for 2017. Although the monetary prize of US$1,000 is awarded to the first author, this is a prestigious recognition of original research for all authors: first author Anatoli Stav, and co-authors Leonid Reytman, Roger Sevi, Michael Yohay Stav, Devorah Powell, Yanai Dor, Mickey Dudkiewicz, Fuaz Bayadse, Ahud Sternberg, and Michael Soudry.
The award ceremony was held at Rambam Health Care Campus on Monday, March 19.
