Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal (RMMJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access medical journal published by Rambam Health Care Campus Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, Israel. The Journal publishes work by physicians and scientists worldwide, including clinically relevant biomedical and translational research, Reviews, Rambam Grand Rounds, symposium reports, and articles exploring the history, ethics, philosophy, and societal aspects of medicine.
The Journal takes its name from Maimonides, known as the Rambam—the renowned physician, philosopher, scholar, and leader whose medical writings remain remarkable centuries after they were written. Rambam Health Care Campus proudly bears his name and seeks to reflect his commitment to medicine, learning, ethics, and service.
Free and Open to Everyone
RMMJ is fully Open Access. All articles are freely available online, with no subscription or access fees for readers. The Journal also charges authors no article processing charges (APCs) or other publication fees.
Subscribe to RMMJ
Subscription is free. Subscribers receive an announcement for each new issue, including a fully linked Table of Contents for direct access to every article. They may also receive very occasional emails with important information about the Journal or notifications of newly available content, such as Online First articles.
RMMJ does not send advertising.
