Information for the Press

Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal is an international peer-reviewed Open Access scientific medical journal. It is one of the few in the world generated at a hospital campus and the only such publication in Israel.

The Journal was inaugurated in July of 2010. As a new player in the field, its acceptance has been relatively quick. It was accepted for Indexing by PubMed Center (PMC) and PubMed in 2012. Since then it has been indexed by many others including DOAJ and EBSCO. As of January 2022, the Journal is an EBSCO and CrossRef member with articles indexed by SCOPUS, Cabell's Scholarly Analytics, the Directory of Open Access Journals, PubMed, the Thomson Reuters Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Clarivate's Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and of course, Google Scholar.
